Excerpts of the President's News Conference

July 13, 1928

I have a telegram from Secretary Kellogg stating that Germany has accepted the multilateral treaty without condition and France has notified him that they will send a note within a few days, probably Saturday, stating her willingness to sign a treaty, which is all very encouraging progress on that important proposal.
