Excerpts of the President's News Conference

June 29, 1928

I haven't received any specific communication from Secretary Kellogg relative to his recent note concerning the outlawry of war. It is my expectation that during the summer we shall be able to get a treaty drafted and ready to lay before the Senate at its next session.
