Excerpts of the President's News Conference

August 12, 1927

The business of the country is in very fair condition. Labor conditions are extremely satisfactory. Wages are on a very liberal basis. There is some unemployment in certain lines, not anything more than what is usual. That is always the case, that there are some lines lag-ging behind.
