On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, the President signed into law:

S. 245, the "Indian Tribal Energy Development and Self-Determination Act Amendments of 2017," which amends the Energy Policy Act of 1992 and other laws to make changes to programs related to energy development on tribal lands and tribal energy self-governance;

S. 825, the "Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium land Transfer Act of 2017," which transfers the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium a specified parcel of Federal land in Sitka, Alaska, by warranty deed;

S. 2465, the "Sickle Cell Disease and Other Heritable Blood Disorders Research, Surveillance, Prevention, and Treatment Act of 2018," which reauthorizes a sickle cell disease prevention and treatment program and to provide grants for research, surveillance, prevention, and treatment of heritable blood disorders;

S. 3029, the "Prematurity Research Expansion and Education for Mothers who deliver Infants Early Reauthorization Act of 2018" or the "PREEMIE Reauthorization Act of 2018"," which reauthorizes the Prematurity Research Expansion and Education for Mothers who deliver Infants Early ("PREEMIE") Act; and

S. 3119, the "Endangered Salmon Predation Prevention Act," which authorizes the Department of Commerce to issue permits to the States of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho and the Nez Perce Tribe and certain Confederated Tribes for the lethal taking of certain sea lions on waters of the Columbia River and its tributaries to protect endangered or threatened species of salmon.
