On Friday, May 31, 2019, the President signed into law:
S. 1693, the "National Flood Insurance Program Extension Act of 2019," which authorizes the Federal Emergency Management Agency to enter into new contracts for flood insurance and borrow from the Treasury up to specified amounts through June 14, 2019.
