On Sunday, September 22, 2019, the President signed into law:
H.R. 831, the "Reviving America's Scenic Byways Act of 2019," which requires the Secretary of Transportation to issue a request for nominations for the National Scenic Byways Program and, within one year of issuing the request, make publicly available a list identifying the roads to be designated under the program.
