Appointment of Willie J. Nunnery as a Member of the President's Committee on the National Medal of Science

The President today announced his intention to appoint Willie J. Nunnery to be a member of the President's Committee on the National Medal of Science for a term expiring December 31, 1989. This is a reappointment.

Since September 1986 Mr. Nunnery has been an attorney with a private law firm in Madison, WI. Prior to this, he was with the firm Stolper, Kotzinski, Brewster & Neider, in Madison, WI, 1985-1986, and an adjunct associate professor at the University of Wisconsin, School of Engineering, 1984-1985. Mr. Nunnery graduated from the University of Kansas (B.S., 1971) and the University of Wisconsin (J.D., 1975). He was born July 28, 1948, in Chicago, IL. Mr. Nunnery is married and resides in Madison, WI.
