On Monday, November 28, 2022, the First Lady will unveil this year's White House holiday theme and seasonal décor. As part of her Joining Forces initiative to support military families, the First Lady will be joined by National Guard leadership from across the country, along with National Guard family members. As a fellow National Guard mother, Dr. Biden wanted to show appreciation for, and honor, the special role the National Guard plays in serving our country.
At 11:30 AM ET, the First Lady will join National Guard families and state Adjutants General for a roundtable discussion on education for military-connected children. This event will be covered by a pool spray.
At 12:30 PM ET, the First Lady will deliver remarks to offer a holiday message of unity and hope and thank the volunteers from across the country who helped decorate the White House for the 2022 season.
