United Nations Economic and Social Council Appointment of William J. Stibravy as U.S. Deputy Representative.

The President today announced the appointment of William J. Stibravy, of Newark, N.J., as Deputy Representative of the United States on the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

Stibravy, 62, is currently Minister-Counselor for Economic and Social Affairs at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations. He is a former director of the Office of International Economic and Social Affairs at the State Department.
