President Donald J. Trump will welcome United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to the White House on May 18, 2018. The meeting between President Trump and Secretary-General Guterres will reaffirm the commitment of the United States to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the United Nations. The two leaders will discuss issues of mutual interest, including North Korea, Syria, and reform of the United Nations, as well as other common threats and challenges.
