Statement by the Press Secretary: President Signs into Law S. 676 and S. 1537

On Thursday, June 21, 2007, the President signed into law:

S. 676, which clarifies that the President may appoint the U.S. Executive Director or Alternate Executive Director of the Inter-American Development Bank to the Board of Directors of the Inter-American Foundation,

S. 1537, which authorizes the Secretary of the Senate to transfer proceeds from the sale of holiday ornaments from the Senate Gift Shop Revolving Fund to the Senate Employee Child Care Center.
