Statement of Administration Policy: S. 1029 - National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1986

The Administration supports Senate passage of S. 1029 at the maximum level allowable under the Senate budget resolution. The Administration may, however, seek to have certain provisions of the bill modified to conform more closely to certain details of the Administration's request.
