The President spoke with President Fernandez de Kirchner on Friday to express his desire to deepen our bilateral relationship and work together to advance shared goals. The Presidents discussed the upcoming G-20 meeting in London and how to work together to resolve the global financial crisis and restore economic growth. President Obama looks forward to working with Argentina toward a successful Summit of the Americas that focuses on positive, common agendas. The President thanked President Fernandez de Kirchner for Argentina's regional leadership in combating terrorism and for its efforts to bring stability to Haiti.
