Readout of the President's Call to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia

The President spoke with King Abdullah ahead of the G-20 meetings in London about the need to coordinate international efforts to restore economic growth. As part of our continuing close consultations with an important friend, the President and King Abdullah also reaffirmed the importance of a strong U.S.-Saudi relationship in promoting peace and security in the region.
