Memorandum on Delegation of Responsibilities Under Public Law 87-297

Memorandum for the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense [and] the Director of the Arms Control and Disarmament Agency

By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 301 of title 3 of the United States Code, and section 50 of the Arms Control and Disarmament Act, Public Law 87-297 (the Act), I hereby delegate to the Director of the Arms Control and Disarmament Agency the authorities and duties vested in me by section 50 of the Act for the report concerning activities of the agency for 1992, provided that the Director may exercise such authorities and duties only in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense. This delegation will expire with the issuance of the agency's 1992 Annual Report.

The Director is directed to publish this memorandum in the Federal Register.
