Executive Order 6607—Withdrawal of Public Land for Forest Fire Lookout Site, California

February 20, 1934

By virtue of the authority vested in me by the act of June 25, 1910 (ch. 421, 36 Stat. 847), as amended by the act of August 24, 1912 (ch. 369, 37 Stat. 497), and subject to the conditions therein expressed and to valid existing rights, it is ordered that the following-described public land in California be, and it is hereby, temporarily withdrawn from settlement, location, sale, or entry for use by the Department of Agriculture as a fire-lookout site in connection with the administration of the Trinity National Forest:

Mount Diablo Meridian

T. 33 N., R. 7 W., sec. 12, NE¼.

This order shall continue in full force and effect unless and until revoked by the President or by act of Congress.
