Advisory: Vice President Vance to Attend U.S. Marine Corps 250th Anniversary Celebration at Camp Pendleton, California

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, Vice President JD Vance will attend a 250th anniversary celebration for the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, California.

The celebration, which will feature amphibious assault demonstrations, will also be attended by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of the Navy John Phelan, and General Eric M. Smith, Commandant of the Marine Corps.

Vice President Vance enlisted in the Marine Corps following his graduation from high school. He is the first Marine to serve as Vice President.
