On Monday, November 21, the President will pardon the National Thanksgiving Turkey in a ceremony on the South Lawn. The President will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the National Thanksgiving Turkey presentation, reflect upon the time-honored traditions of Thanksgiving, and wish American families a safe and healthy holiday. The 2022 National Thanksgiving Turkey and its alternate were raised near Monroe, North Carolina. This ceremony on the South Lawn will be open press.
