Dr. Jill Biden will travel to Paris, France, from June 11 through June 14. During the visit, Dr. Biden will deliver remarks at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) headquarters in Paris to promote the need for gender equality in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Design and Math (STEAM) education and the importance of encouraging more women and girls to pursue careers in these fields. This is part of Dr. Biden's ongoing work to advance girls education and women's empowerment around the world.
