House Majority Leader Morgan Griffith Named As State Co-Chair

Boston, MA – Today Governor Mitt Romney announced the 20 members of the Romney for President Statewide Steering Committee. These Virginia leaders will help organize grassroots efforts across the state and will help communicate Governor Romney's message of conservative change in Washington.

Announcing the Virginia Statewide Steering Committee, Governor Mitt Romney said, "I am proud to have the support of these Virginia leaders. With the Virginia primary just around the corner, their leadership and hard work are critical to our campaign in the state. We are building an exceptional team, and we continue to gain momentum. With the help of this steering committee, we will continue to be competitive in Virginia. I look forward to working with this new team to victory in February."

Romney for President Virginia State Chairman, Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling said, "I am very pleased by the progress Governor Romney's campaign has made in Virginia.
