Boston, MA – Today, several Republican leaders from Mesa County, Colorado, announced their endorsement of Governor Mitt Romney for President of the United States. As one of Colorado's largest counties, these Mesa leaders will be instrumental in expanding Governor Romney's grassroots organization in the state ahead of the February 5th caucus.

Making today's announcement are former Mesa Country Republican Party Chairs Jim Baughman, Barb Brewer, Garry Brewer, Judy Burford, Lois Dunn, Ray Schuster and John Whiting. Baughman also served as a County Commissioner for Mesa County.

"It is an honor to have the support and help of these Mesa County Republican leaders. Over the past few months, we have built a strong grassroots organization in the county and across Colorado. We're looking forward to the caucuses and today's announcement helps advance our efforts," said State Senator Josh Penry, who represents Mesa County in the State Legislature.
