Giuliani Campaign Press Release - Giuliani Files for Kansas Republican Caucus

The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee filed official paperwork today to place Mayor Giuliani on the caucus ballot in Kansas. The paperwork was submitted by Kansas State Representative Kevin Yoder of Overland Park and Garden City Commissioner J.R. Behan, who are supporting Mayor Giuliani for President.

"Rudy is the only Republican that can win in the general election," said Rep. Yoder. "Republicans in Kansas want a President who knows how to lead and get results – Rudy is that candidate."

About Kevin Yoder:

Yoder is in his third term representing the 20th District in the Kansas House, which includes Overland Park. He is the chairman of the Government Budget Committee in the House.

About J.R. Behan:

Behan was elected to Garden City Commission in 2005. The commission is responsible for setting city goals and policy guidelines, approving city budget measures, and providing direction to the city manager. Behan is also a supervisor with Finney County Emergency Medical Services.
