Giuliani Campaign Press Release - Giuliani Campaign Adds Backing of Apopka City Commissioner

January 27, 2008

The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced that Kathy Till, who serves as a City of Apopka Commissioner, is backing Mayor Giuliani for President.

"Rudy Giuliani is head and shoulders above the field when it comes to growing the economy. During two terms as Mayor of New York City, he cut taxes 23 times, helping to create 423,000 new jobs in the process. Based on what he's accomplished in the past, we can count on Rudy to deliver strong economic growth as President," said Till.

"We are proud to have the support of local leaders like Commissioner Till," said Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, Giuliani's Florida Chairman.

Reflecting the campaign's strong grassroots effort, Giuliani has the support of dozens of current and former local, county and state officials. Today's announcement follows the recent endorsement of former U.S. Representative Clay Shaw.
