Senator Daschle will discuss Barack Obama's vision for reclaiming the American Dream and bringing our country together to make progress on the tough challenges Americans face.

Tom Daschle represented South Dakota in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1978 and then was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986. During his time in the Senate, he quickly rose through the ranks to become the Senate Majority Leader.
