Executive Order 9539—Reinstating Avra M. Warren in the Foreign Service of the United States

April 13, 1945

By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 12 of the act of February 23, 1931, 46 Stat. 1207, 1208, it is ordered that Avra M. Warren, who relinquished his position as an officer in the Foreign Service of the United States on June 16, 1942, when he took his oath as Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the Dominican Republic, be, and he is hereby, reinstated in the Foreign Service of the United States in Class I ($9,800), his reinstatement to be effective upon the date his nomination to a position in such class is confirmed by the Senate.
