THE PRESIDENT said:
"I am waiting to secure a list of the members of the Navy League. As soon as that list is obtainable, I shall select representation from the membership on a committee which will be able to establish the untruths promulgated by the president of that body."
Note: William Howard Gardiner was president of the Navy League.
