Remarks at Greensburg, Indiana.

June 15, 1931

MRS. HOOVER and I want to express our appreciation for this beautiful greeting. It is a fine welcome to the State of Indiana. It is encouraging to be a President, to receive such a greeting and such a welcome as this.

Thank you.

Note: The President spoke to a group gathered around the rear platform of the Presidential train, which was en route to Indianapolis, Ind. The American Legion had organized a welcoming demonstration.
