BURLINGTON, Vt. — U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Monday will hold a rally in Birmingham, Alabama. The Democratic Party presidential candidate will be joined by former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner and Dr. Cornel West to discuss the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the ongoing fight for racial justice.

Here is the itinerary:

January 18

7 p.m. Future to Believe In Rally, Historic Boutwell Memorial Auditorium, 1930 Reverend Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd, Birmingham

Information for the public: Doors open at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is strongly encouraged.
