Sanders Campaign Press Release - Fight for $15

January 17, 2016

CHARLESTON, S.C. — U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders used a bullhorn on Sunday to address demonstrators calling for an increase in the minimum wage. The demonstrators gathered outside the site of a Democratic presidential debate. Sanders has introduced legislation in the Senate to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2020. Hillary Clinton so far has not backed a $15 an hour national minimum wage.
