IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Friday sent a letter to AIPAC expressing his regret that he could not attend the organization's conference in Washington, D.C., but adding that "issues impacting Israel and the Middle East are of the utmost importance to me, to our country and to the world."
