Executive Order 10796—Amendment of Executive Order No. 10655 Relating to the Air Coordinating Committee

By virtue of the authority vested in me as President of the United States, it is ordered as follows:

SECTION 1. Paragraph 1 (a) of Executive Order No. 10655 of January 28, 1956 (21 F. R. 665), is amended to read as follows:

"1 (a) The Air Coordinating Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee), established by Executive Order No. 9781 of September 19, 1946, as amended by Executive Order No. 10360 of June 11, 1952, shall have as members one representative from each of the following-named agencies (hereinafter referred to as member agencies): the Departments of State, the Treasury, Post Office, and Commerce, the Federal Aviation Agency, the military departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, the Civil Aeronautics Board, and the Federal Communications Commission. The members of the Committee shall be designated by the respective heads of the member agencies. The member representing the Federal Aviation Agency shall be the Chairman of the Committee. The Director of the Bureau of the Budget and the Director of the Office of Civil and Defense Mobilization shall each designate one representative of his agency as a non-voting member of the Committee."

SEC. 2. Executive Order No. 10754 of February 22, 1958 (23 F. R. 1191), is hereby revoked.
