PRESIDENT JOHNSON WINS REELECTION IN LANDSIDE!
November 3rd, 1964

President Lyndon Baines Johnson was reelected President of the United States with the largest popular vote plurality in U.S. history. The President received 61 per cent of the popular vote and 486 electoral votes in defeating conservative Sen. Barry Goldwater of Arizona.
