NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR FAILS TO ATTRACT A CROWD
July 6th, 1964

Although over 27 million visitors came to New York to view the world's fair, the attendance was far below what fair officials had hoped for. Some blamed the fair's motto "Peace through Understanding."
