MIG FIGHTER DOWNS U.S. JETS

A MIG fighter plane has ambushed U.S. jets in the sky over North Vietnam bringing down an undisclosed number of American aircraft. The MIG fighters, believed to have been supplied to the North Vietnamese by the Chinese communists, have been opposing U.S. air strikes over North Vietnam.
