travel pool 4 (stroll and Chinese translation)
Noah Bierman • Los Angeles Times
April 7, 2017: 12:53 PM

*Beginning at about 12:25, President Trump and President Xi walked along the greens of the estate, providing a photo op for the pool, which was roped off from a distance of about 30-50 feet. Two interpreters walked several paces behind them. Both presidents wore dark suits, Trump with a red tie and Xi with a blue tie. President Trump appeared to be speaking and pointing out aspects of the grounds, as well as the Atlantic Ocean in front of them. They paused twice for photos and waved to the press as Trump yelled "Thank you folks, thank you."

President Xi's expects to depart in the early afternoon.

*On a separate note, Andrew Beatty of AFP provides a rough, partial and paraphrased translation of President Xi's comments from the earlier spray, courtesy of his counterparts in China:

This meeting was very unique... it has an especially important meaning for the future development of China US relations... President Trump has made excellent preparations and warmly welcomed us... we have had lengthy and deep communication.

*Sean Spicer is providing a readout to reporters off camera shortly at the Tideline Hotel. Pool will not be there, but will have access to feed and will attempt to send highlights.
