Audio is coming from fellow pooler Noah Bierman. More quotes coming in next feed.

"Assad choked out the lives of helpless men, women and children," Trump said.

"Tonight I ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched. It is in this vital national security interest of the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons."

"There can be no dispute that Syria used banned chemical weapons, violated its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and ignored the urging of the UN Security Council."

Pool is rolling to hotel for senior administration briefing on the decision to launch missile strikes.

President Trump delivered the quick remarks with the help of two teleprompters and stuck to his script.

He did not answer shouted questions as he left the room.

He was surrounded by top aides -- Steve Bannon, Reince Priebus, Ivanka Trump, Dina Powell, Wilbur Ross and dozens more.

Bannon was seen outside the room gesturing to other aides, like Stephen Miller, but we were escorted out.

Wait staff at Mar a Lago appeared to be cleaning up from tonight's dinner.
