White House Pool Report #3
S.V. Dáte • The Huffington Post
April 5, 2017: 12:28 PM

Pool was led into the Oval Office at 1204. President Trump and King Abdullah were seated in wing chairs, their wives standing behind them.

After a great number of photos were taken, POTUS said:

"These are very troubled times in the Middle East. And we see what happened just recently, yesterday in Syria. Horrible. Horrible thing. Unspeakable. But I want to thank you both very much for being at the White House and we're going to have some interesting discussions."

To a question about the chemical attack in Syria:

"Terrible. Terrible. It is a terrible affront to humanity. I can tell you. Terrible."

To the question: will there any policy to deal with it?

"You'll see."

POTUS did not respond to a shouted question about why Stephen Bannon was removed from the NSC.

Pool was ushered out at 1206.
