She talked about the importance of k-12 education, ("education is very core") and consolidating govt. workforce retraining programs.

Of most interest was her report on recent POTUS meetings Germany's Angela Merkel, who discussed vo-tech, apprenticeships, where Germany leads. "The Germans have really led the way on that front," Ivanka Trump said. She said administration is looking to encourage more private sector involvement.

re empowering women, equal pay, particularly in STEM fields.

Said her father hopes to create 25 million jobs and "women need to fully participate... we need to empower them to feel that growth."

She told gathering CEO's "you can all really move the needle."
