The pool was led into the Oval Office at 2:18 p.m. The president was seated at his desk to sign the joint resolution rolling back the Cardin-Lugar regulations from Dodd-Frank as we walked in. VP Ryan as well as Hensarling, Ryan and other members of Congress behind desk.

"It's a big deal," Trump said. "The energy jobs are coming back. Lots of people going back to work now." He turned to Speaker Ryan and said: "We're working on Obamacare. It will be very soon."

No questions or remarks on Flynn.

Pool, which left the briefing at 1:50 p.m. in order to stage for the spray, was led back out of the Oval Office at 2:21 p.m.
