WH Pool Report 8
Mark Matthews • The Denver Post
January 23, 2017: 05:45 PM

Pool returned to the State Dining Room at 5:34 p.m. As we were waiting outside for the second spray of same POTUS meeting with congressional leaders, POTUS could be heard saying: "I do respect the Electoral College."

This time around, POTUS and the lawmakers cited in previous report were all seated around the dining room table. As with the Oval Office spray with union leaders, this was just a short photo-op with few remarks. POTUS described his interactions with congressional leaders as just a "beautiful, beautiful relationship."

As pool was being ushered out at 5:35 p.m., POTUS said "we're about to make a big deal" to laughs around the table.

Pool told that we could return for a third time. Stay tuned.
