Vice President Mike Pence boarded Air Force Two at 3 p.m. for flight to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.
After arriving at Andrews AFB by motorcade, Mr. Pence and his wife, Karen, walked up the steps to the plane side-by-side. Mr. Pence wore no overcoat on this blustery cold day. When they reached the top of the stairs, they turned and waved.
At West Point, per the White House, the vice president "will host an African American Cadet Roundtable, participate in a historical tour, and offer remarks at the Henry O. Flipper Awards."
At 3:08 p.m., we're rolling.
