In-town pool report #1
John Fritze • The Baltimore Sun
March 23, 2017: 03:39 PM

Trump, during the Cabinet Room meeting with truckers and CEOs, had no reaction to shouted questions re. news reports that the AHCA vote has been delayed. He said the following in his remarks to the truckers:

"Today, the House is voting to repeal and replace the disaster known as Obamacare," Trump said. "We'll see what happens. It's going to be a very close vote."

Trump said it would be close only because of "politics."

"We have a great bill, and I think we have a very good chance," he said.

Pool was brought into the Cabinet Room at 3:16 p.m. and we were back out at 3:32 p.m.

I had a technical glitch on the email from the South Portico event. Forthcoming report will cover that event, and more details from the Cabinet Room.

Trump made no remarks at the South Portico event.
