First Lady Melania Trump left Trump Tower at 10:46. Wearing big, dark sunglasses, she climbed into a black vehicle and headed along East 56 Street and then uptown in a motorcade with flashing lights. (It slows down for traffic). At 11:04 she arrived at New York Presbyterian hospital, a place she's visited in the past, according to a White House official. She will speak to children here and will also read stories to them. (An aide walked out of Trump Tower to the motorcade, carrying a white box filled with Dr Seuss books, decorated with a gold-colored ribbon.
