VP pool report #1
Ashley Parker • The Washington Post
February 20, 2017: 09:47 AM

Before Vice President Pence's first meeting of the day in Brussels Monday — with E.U. High Representative Mogherini — the two leaders posed for a brief pool spray at roughly 9:30 a.m. local, shaking hands and smiling at the cameras for 20 seconds.

Pence ignored a shouted question on whether President Trump actually supports the E.U.

Your pool was also brought in for a quick spray at the top of the meeting. Pence said he brought greetings from Trump, and was "very grateful to have the opportunity to visit with you and explore ways that we can Deepen our relationship with the European Union and the European community."

Mogherini said she thought they would have many things to work on together, and then your pool was escorted out.
