First Lady Melania Trump held a women's luncheon in the State Dining Room in honor of International Women's Day.

Pool saw her enter to a standing ovation but was ushered out as she began to speak.

There were seven tables of seven seats apiece, each table adorned with a centerpiece including pharoah tulips and sweet pea flowers, primarily purple and lavender.

Spotted at the luncheon, with a big thanks to my former Associated Press colleague Darlene Superville: Karen Pence, Kellyanne Conway, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, Small Business Administrator Linda McMahon and Ivanka Trump.

Will pass along remarks and a full guest list when available.
