In town pool report #4

The motorcade pulled onto the White House grounds at 228 pm following an uneventful trip from Sterling, Va., during which we stopped for lights on the non-highway portions of the journey. We did not see the president and could not make out others on arrival but did see golf clubs being carried away from the motorcade.

Still pool/AP photographer has images of Peyton Manning and Sen. Bob Corker on the South Lawn upon our arrival, which I pass along with gratitude to them for showing me.

We now have a lunch lid until 545 pm, when I will be back with you for the gala.

Until then,
