In-town pool #3

Pool was ushered in before the president met with congressional leaders. Senior advisor Jared Kushner shook Rep. Steve Scalise's hand and spoke with him out of earshot of pool as Speaker Paul Ryan, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Sen. John Cornyn chatted amongst themselves in the Roosevelt Room.

As the pool was ushered out Trump was asked his message for former FBI director James Comey.

"I wish him good luck," Trump said.

Before that the president walked in, shook hands, and sat down in between Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Ryan. At one point he pointed to Kushner and said, "Jared has actually become much more famous than me I'm a little upset at that," to loud laughter from the group. Scalise turned to Kushner and said "that's a badge of honor" as Kushner smiled and kept his hands clasped in front of him.

Vice President Pence, chief of staff Reince Priebus and legislative affairs director Marc Short were also in attendance. More to come from meeting.
