Pool report #10 - Non-arrival/Oval lecture
John Bennett • CQ Roll Call
February 1, 2017: 06:13 PM

Your pooler and some colleagues gathered for Marine One arrival on South Lawn just before 6 p.m. Minutes later, we were informed POTUS has not left Dover, and we shuffled back inside the warm confines of the executive mansion. And, in the spirit of burying the lede, there is a lectern set up in the Oval Office, where POTUS will head upon his promised arrival for a ceremonial swearing in of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. It appears he president will deliver remarks. He is expected back shortly before 7 p.m. We think. Stay tuned, folks.
