Good morning from Brussels on a gorgeous spring day. The sky is blue, the sun is shining and the temperature is a crisp 60 degrees.

At 10:06 a.m., 21 minutes behind schedule, President Trump departed the U.S. Ambassador's Residence en route to the European Union Headquarters for a bilateral meeting with President Donald Tusk and EU leadership. He was riding in the Beast, the president's armored Cadillac limousine, which on this day carried the American and Belgian flags.

The residence, where President Trump stayed the night, is on Rue Decale across from the leafy Parc de Bruxelles. It appears that a number of other diplomatic buildings are on the same block, including the U.K. and Swiss ambassadors' residences, if the flags hanging above the front doors are any indication.
