March 11, 2017: 08:10 AM

At 8:01 a.m., on a blustery, 27-degree morning, Vice President Pence — without a coat! — arrived at Joint Base Andrews, along with body man Zach Bauer and communications director Jarrod Agen. The rest of his staff was already onboard Air Force Two, including press secretary Marc Lotter, speechwriter Stephen Ford, and Jessica Ditto from the White House communications shop. We are now wheels up to Louisville, where the temperature is expected to be at least three degrees warmer.
